                              MEM COMMAND

Purpose:    Displays information on the system memory usage and device
            drivers or loaded programs.

Syntax:     MEM [<switch>[+|-]...]

            where
            "+"     - switch is on
            "-"     - switch is off

By default: MEM /S/E/X/Y

Type:       External command

Switches:

/D      Display the Memory Control Block (MCB) list
/I      Display the installed Device Drivers list
/C      Display the installed Memory Resident Programs list (TSR)
/S      Display the summary using of system memory
/E      Display the information about Expanded Memory (EMS)
/X      Display the information about Extended Memory (XMS)
/Y      Display the information about System location
/H      Display the list of EMS blocks
/B      Display the list of XMS blocks
/L      Display the list of file locks
/F      Display the information about System Data location
/K      Pause between information blocks
/A      Display all information

     For example, running MEM command without any parameters, you will get
the following information:

        655,360 bytes total conventional memory
        591,472 bytes free conventional memory
        590,608 largest executable program size

      3,407,872 bytes total contiguous extended memory
              0 bytes available contiguous extended memory
         10,240 bytes total XMS memory available
         10,240 largest XMS memory block size

        PTS-DOS resident in High Memory Area
