VERIFY COMMAND
Purpose: Verifies the data on the disk.
Syntax: VERIFY [ON:OFF]
Type: Internal command
By default: VERIFY OFF
Description:
If the verify switch is ON, DOS verify the data after every write
operation. The verification takes time, that's why the rate of the write
operations decreases.
The VERIFY command without parameters displays the current status of
program (ON or OFF).
Notice:
VERIFY does not verify the data written to the network disk.
