                            HiMem?86 Driver

Purpose:     HiMem386.sys driver serves to support XMS 3.0 standard with
             PS/2, PC/AT PCs equipped with i386 or higher main processor.
             HiMem 286.sys driver supports XMS 2.0 standard with PS/2, PC/AT
             PCs with i286 main processor.  Both drivers also arrange a
             higher memory area (HMA).

Syntax:      DEVICE = HiMem?86.Sys [/NUMHANDLES=xx][/MACHINE=yy]

Description:

/NUMHANDLES   can vary from 32 to 128. It sets the maximum number of
              HANDLES accessible for application.

/MACHINE      determines PC type: 1 - AT compatible, 2 - PS/2 compatible PC.

     While using HiMem?86 driver you can instruct the configuration file to
locate DOS in high memory (see DOS configuration command). HiMem?86.sys
driver is needed while setting up EMS memory and UMB.
