                             Revive diskette

     The utility can be used to revive information damaged by protracted
storage. The data are being verified, the diskette formatted and the saved
information recorded.

     To call up the function select item "R - revive diskette" in "Disk
utilities" menu. In the panel that pops up select disk type (A, B) using
arrow keys or a mouse.

     In the process of "revival" the application provides the following
information:

     Letters in front of a track number mean:
R - reading;
F - formatting;
W - writing;
V - verifying.

     If some errors remained not corrected, the corresponding sectors can be
saved in the file chosen by the user.  The defective diskette then can be
copied to a sound one, after which the diskette-copy and the saved file
should be subjected to restoring procedure (see reTrieve diskette).
