Backup copy
The TRUST BACK module which is included into the Command Processor
package provides you with the possibility to create backup copies of files,
directories and disks. This can be done in interactive and background modes.
(See "BACKUP COPYING IN BACKGROUND MODE").
While in interactive node you should tag desired files or directories
and press keys [Ctrl-F9]. Then you select a drive where you want to create
the background copy.
After this you should select what files you want to copy: all files or
only those where changes have been made or the ones created after the last
copy was made.
After that you can see the information about the number and total size
of tagged files and about the target disk if it is local.
Then if the target disk is removable (diskette) you will be prompted
to insert a diskette into the drive. During backup copying the following
information is displayed on the screen: the current file being copied and
percentage of operation performed. When the diskette is full you'll be
prompted to insert the next diskette.
If the target disk is local and it is full the following error message
appears on the screen: "Insufficient space on local disk".
The backup copy of a file can be created as an archive on several
diskettes. It will contain the files BACKUP.nnn, where nnn - the diskette
number.
A backup copy can be also created as ordinary files and the directory
tree is created on the target disk. For example, if you make a backup copy
of the file D:\WORK\DOC\cpdoc.1 on disk A: the file A:\WORK\DOC\cpdoc.1 will
be created.
You may set up the type of backup copying in the menu "Backup setup"
(see "BACKUP COPYING IN BACKGROUND MODE").
