Restore backup copy
To restore a backup copy of a file which is contained in the archive
file BACKUP.nnn you have to press the keys [Alt-F9]. Select the disk with
backup copy in the panel which appears on the screen. Then select a drive
to restore a backup file.
You may restore both the whole archive and only some files from
the archive:
+-------------------+
Restore backup copy
+-------------------+
All files
Some files
Print list
+-------------------+
All files
If you select the item "All files" all files will be restored. Then,
if the disk with an archive is removable (a diskette) the prompt to insert a
diskette appears on the screen.
During the process of backup copy restoration a panel with the the
current file being restored and percentage of operation performed is
displayed.
If the file being restored already exists the following menu appears:
+-------------------------------+
File NETB.ASM already exists
Overwrite Skip Skip all
+-------------------------------+
Some files
If you select the item "Some items" you may restore selected files from
an archive. Then the list of all files included in the part of an archive
contained on the current diskette (in case the archive is stored on several
diskettes) or the list of all files of an archive if it is stored on one
diskette or on the hard disk is displayed. Select the desired file. The
procedure of file restoration begins after you press [Enter].
"Offset" determines file position from which the current part of an
archive begins. If it is zero the file beginning is in the current part of
an archive. If it is not zero it means that the file beginning is on another
diskette. To restore this file you should insert that diskette and select
the item "Some files" again.
Print list
If you select the item "Print list" the list of files contained in the
archive on the current disk will be printed.
