                                Movement

     CP's editor has many unique commands for moving through the files being
edited. As usual, the arrow keys allow you to move in the text one position
left, right, up or down.  To move the cursor using the mouse place the mouse
cursor to the desired position and press the left button.

     The [Home] and [End] keys let you move the cursor to the start or to
the end of the current line. To scroll through the file you may also use the
[PgUp] and [PgDn] keys. Pressing these keys brings the cursor 19 lines (one
screen page) up or down respectively. You may use the mouse to scroll one
screen page up or down. To do this place the mouse cursor onto the thin
top/bottom boundary line of the editor panel and press the left button.

     The "Movement" menu contains the following items (all functions can be
called up by hot keys):

Top of file             [Ctrl-PgUp] - move to the start of the file

End of file             [Ctrl-PgDn] - move to the end of the file

go to Line              [F5]        - go to the line with specified
                                      number
     In the query panel that appears on the screen type in the line number.
     Wnen entering the line number you may use the line editing menu (see
     "Editing Lines in Panels"). After you type in the line number press
     [Enter] and CP will go to the specified line. This line will be
     displayed as the upper line of the screen.

go to Position          [Shift-F5]  - go to the position with specified
                                      number
     (Mouse: Place the mouse cursor onto the "Offset" line displayed at the
     upper part of the screen and press the mouse left button.) In the query
     panel that appears on the screen type in the position number.  Wnen
     entering the position number you may use the line editing menu (see
     "Editing Lines in Panels"). After you type in the position number press
     [Enter] and CP will go to the specified position.  This position will
     be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.

Go to percent of file   [Ctrl-F5]   - go to the specified file percentage

     (Mouse: Place the mouse cursor onto the figure indicating the file
     percentage at the upper part of the screen and press the mouse left
     button. Using the keys [left arrow] and [right arrow] or using the
     mouse you can move the indicator to select the desired file percentage.
     After you have selected the percentage press [Enter] or the mouse left
     button. The cursor in the file will be positioned according to the
     specified percentage, in the upper left corner of the screen.  Using
     the keys [up arrow] and [down arrow] you can change the increments of
     the indicator movement in the panel while selecting the desired file
     percentage.

Store position          [F6]        - mark one position in the file.

     The letter "M" that appears in the status line in front of the name of
     the file being edited testifies to the fact that the position has been
     stored in memory. You should keep in mind that the stored position is
     not saved when you leave the editor.

Restore position        [Shift-F6]  - go to marked position

     The position  that has been stored will be displayed starting from the
     top of the screen.
