Deleting

     The "Deleting and Undeleting" menu  contains four items:

Delete char        [Del]     - delete a character under the cursor.

Backspace          [Backspc] - delete a character to the left of the
                               cursor

delete Line        [Ctrl-Y]  - delete an entire line.


Undelete           [Ctrl-U]  - undelete the last deleted character or
                               line.

     If you press [Ctrl-U] several times, you will obtain several copies of
     the deleted line or charaßter. Deleted lines are saved if you quit the
     editor.
