Editing database

     The editing mode permits editing fields, removing and adding records,
as well as sorting the database. Such operations as moving around in a
database, changing modes of operation and viewing, setting patterns are
similar to respective operations in the database viewing mode.

     To edit the field highlight it with the indicator and press [Enter].
To delete the current record press [Delete].  The record will not be
evacuated from the database, it only will be marked as a deleted record
which can be viewed, in case you would want it, by pressing [Shift-F10].  To
add another record to the database press [Ctrl-F10]. To go to the sorting
panel press [F8].

     In the  panel you find the fields list with sorting attributes and a
horizontal menu.

     The field comprises the following parts:

- Sorting priority  - indicates the priority of the field at sorting.
- Sorting flag      - indicates which field is participating in the
                      sorting.
- Field name
- Field type
- Sorting order     - indicates in which direction the sorting should
                      be done in this field (increasing or decreasing).

     Suppose you chose the item "Mark" in the horizontal menu (to do this
select this item by using arrow keys and press [Enter]).  By doing that you
start automatic setting procedure: the priority and a sorting flag are set
for a non-marked field, simultaneously leaving the marked field.

     To change the sorting order of the selected field select the "Order"
item.

    To sort out the database select the item "Sort" in the menu.

    To return to the main panel of the database editor select the item
"Cancel".

    To move about in the fields list the following keys are used:

[Up]        - move the selector by one position up.
[Down]      - move the selector by 1 position down.
[Home]      - move the selector to the start.
[End]       - move the selector to the end.
[PgUp]      - move the selector by 12 positions up.
[PgDn]      - move the selector by 12 positions down.
