Display and mouse operating modes may be changed by doing one of the
following:

1) Select the "Other" item in the pull-down menu and the "Setup" item in
the submenu and then the "Display and mouse" item
2) Press [Ctrl-S] and [D].

Choose the desired options in the "Display and mouse" menu:

Monochrome display
After choosing this option the CP will work in the monochrome mode.
This is not strictly black-and-white mode as you can modify it to
include colors, but it has features inherent to monochrome text mode
software, e.g. tagging files with an asterisk, etc.

Graphic display (EGA/VGA)
This option determines the appearance of the CP. In Graphic all
windows have smooth graphic frames, while menus incorporate graphic
     symbols.

sNow control
It enables the user to switch on/off the snow suppression in the
display and mouse menu. The use of this option makes sense only with
CGA adapters. It has no effect on EGA/VGA adapters but for slowing down
     the display output considerably.

left-Handed mouse
Switches functions between left and right buttons of a mouse.

Fast mouse reset
Choose this option for quicker returning back to the CP main menu after
quitting programs started from CP. Note that with some mouse drivers
(e.g., GMOUSE) after choosing this option the mouse will simply
disappear after loading programs. If such is the case, then switch the
     option off.

Standard mouse cursor
Diamond mouse cursor
Arrow mouse cursor (EGA/VGA)
Three mouse cursor options are available: standard (rectangular),
diamond-shaped and arrow. The last one is available only with EGA/VGA
displays and it is not recommended to use it with DESQview.
