                         DESQview specific setup

CP can support DESQview, version 2.0 and higher. Following
installation, the CP directory will contain C1-PIF.DVP file which would
enable you to use the standard DESQview ADD PROGRAM procedure to add the CP
to the programs list. Some of the programs enclosed in CP package cannot be
started from DESQview. These are: national alphabets support (NKD.COM and
CPSCR.COM can be started ahead of DESQview), some CP utilities - graphic
display, extended EGA/VGA mode, graphic mouse mode, display saving and
removal of resident programs.

If you enter a DOS command from CP, while running DESQview, the CP will
start a new task and (possibly) will wait for its completion. You can
interrupt this by going to a CP panel and pressing [^Break].

While running DESQview, a special DESQview setup menu appears. You can
specify whether the CP should always wait for the completion of a command's
execution (it is highly recommended), or only while running package
operations, such as user's menu or group execution, or never (this last
option is not recommended since the CP will start all user's menu commands
simultaneously). You can also install Program Information for the
applications started from the CP command line, such as DESQview Add Program
and Change Program Information.
