                      Using protected FOLDER-disks

If you need to limit access to data on the FOLDER-disk created on a
hard drive you may use password protection (see FPASSW Utility). In this
case the system will demand at each reboot to input the password for this
particular disk.

The user is allowed three attempts to input the correct password.
After the successful attempt the FOLDER-disk will be accessible for all
operations with the stored information (the user can read it, correct, start
programs, etc.).

If all attempts to input the right password fail the system looks for
instructions and if the disk has a public read-only status it will be
opened, but will remain accessible only for reading. All attempts to
introduce any changes to the disk will be rejected.

If the disk has no "public" status it will remain closed. Any attempts
to address the disk will be rejected by the system. In this case the only
way to access the disk is to reboot the computer and try to type the correct
password once more.
