BSA File archiver
The BSA file archiver is notable for both speed and density of file
packing. In the command line mode the archiver has a large number of
commands for operation with archives. The main functions (pack/unpack files)
may be performed in interactive mode from the CP's viewing programm per hot
keys.
You will find below the instructions on how to use the BSA in the
command line mode. The BSA operation in interactive mode is described in
section "VIEWING ARCHIVES".
The archive file uses the following command:
bsa [-] command [-modifier...] archive_name [base-dir/] [file ...]
Latin characters in the upper and lower cases are considered to be
equal. In DOS Latin characters in file names are lowercased and stored in
the archive in this form. The slash (/) and the back slash (\) can both be
used in file names and are all converted into the slash (/) for
compatibility with UNIX and QNX operating systems.
In DOS file names are lowercased and in other systems they can be both
uppercased and lowercased. Note that there can be only one command and many
switches.
